Documenting December with Simple Stamping

Planning to document your December?

Here's a fun idea: Make some Story Cards to use in your scrapbook. Technique Tuesday's Planner - Christmas and Planner - December Story stamp sets are just perfect for that.

Technique-Tuesday-Christmas-Planner-Story-Cards-Teri-AndersonThese stamp sets aren't just for planners! The images and words in these stamp sets work great for memory keeping projects, like journaling cards for a December Daily album.

For these Story Cards, we simply sponged red and green ink onto base cards cut from white cardstock with the Story Card dies. And then we stamped on top with black ink. We finished each card off with a sentiment stamped from one of the planner sets.

PS. Looking for some more ideas for documenting your Christmas and Winter activities? Check out this Technique Tuesday video to learn how to make even more cute embellishments with stamps and dies.

A Colorful Technique from Tobi + Technique Tuesday on the Web

Do you like color? Well, I think you are going to love this fun card Tobi Crawford made.

For You Leaves by Tobi CrawfordWondering how she gave those leaves (cut with the Garden Leaves by Cath Edvalson dies) that rainbow tone? Easy. She used a little bit of spray mist on them. Swing by her blog to get a better look at the card and to see the leaves turn from plain white to rainbow-toned. It is so cool!

By the way, we love how seeing how you are using Technique Tuesday's products. Here are a couple projects shared on the Web that we'd like to call your attention to:

  • There's just something about flowers, and the cards Roberta Wax has been making with the Camellia - Greenhouse Society stamp set are so inspiring. So many great ideas!
  • What a cute card Tracey McNeely created with the Chickadees stamp set!
  • Are you a planner? Watch this fun process video from Charmaine Dulak to see how she decorates her planner. She does a little stamping with Technique Tuesday's planner stamp sets.
  • Just you wait until you see how Tamatha colored in the flowers from the Pansy stamp set? So, so realistic!
