Orchids-Blog-Seeka-Dramatic-Colors

Seeka's dramatic colors make for a simple and elegant birthday card. She stamped the flower from the Alluring Orchid Stamp Set and heat embossed it. Then she water colored the flowers with powdered pigments. She masked off the edges of her card and used Distress Oxide Inks to create a soft gradient that sets off the die cut Alluring Orchid image beautifully. You can see more about her project on her blog.

Orchids-Blog-Yasmin-Gold-diecut-With-Love

Of course, simple and elegant is pretty much the orchid's calling card. For this card, Yasmin used gold embossing powder and subtle watercolors. A couple of the word dies from the Alluring Orchid Crafting Dies set cut from gold paper make up her sentiment, and then she framed it all with a label cut with the Essential Stitched Labels Dies set. Go check out her blog post about her Alluring Orchids project.

Orchids-Blog-Ana-Masked-Ombre-Background

Ana used a masking technique to create her card. First she stamped her Alluring Orchids and then masked them off while she created an ombré background. Her orchids are colored with alcohol markers, and the finishing touch is the white-embossed sentiment. Here's her big March project blog post where she tells how she made this and other cards.

Orchids-Blog-Allison-slimline-wtih-Heartstrings

This beautiful slimline card by Allison uses the Alluring Orchid stamps and dies, and adds just that little bit more love with the Heart Strings dies. Allison colored her orchids with alcohol markers, and then die cut them. She arranged the orchids and heart strings on a grey background, and used the 'with love' from the Alluring Orchids die set cut from gold paper for a bold sentiment. Check out her blog for more info on this sweet card!
