Create Projects that are Filled with LOVE!
Oh la la... check out these projects by Candice Fisher! Her color schemes are so luscious. And her slim-line card is very trendy!
Candice made this bright and happy slimline card using the Love Is In the Air stamp set, and the Heart Strings crafting sies. She stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it, then used oxide inks to create the background, and splattered it a bit with white, pink, and yellow. Then she stamped the heart balloons and gift box from the Love is in the Air stamp set, and colored them with Copic markers. She fussy cut them, and adhered them and several of the Heart Strings die cuts to the front of the card, along with a few of the heart centers from the hollows of the hearts.
For her second project, Candice created a box card. She used the hot air balloon from the Love Is In the Air stamp set and a couple of strings of hearts from the set of Heart Strings dies. She cut her card out and added some inked clouds and a few heart strings around the box. Then she heat embossed the sentiment, hearts and paper plane in white, and inked over them to match the clouds. (They are a little hard to see in this photo but they are lovely in real life.) Next, she stamped the hot air balloons and colored them with Copic markers. She fussy cut them and then used acetate supports to let the balloons float over the card, along with a few Heart Strings. Make an Ombre or Monochromatic Valentine!
Wouldn't the people you love enjoy getting a homemade valentine like this one? I love how Seeka used die cuts to fill the front of her card. And I adore the how she stamped the floral background for this GORGEOUS card. Plus you could use different sentiments inside a card like this to make projects for so many different occasions!
Seeka used the Long Love dies to cut out the scripty words and heart charm. I really like how she hung the heart charm from the last scripty love die cut. That adds such a whimsical touch. (This set of dies is only $9.99!) She used Distress Inks to create the ombré panel and adhered her love-themed die cut accents. To make the flowery background, she used the Blooming Branch stamp set. Roses Are a Great Way to Show Your Love
You'll love how easy it is to send your loved ones birthday wishes, lots of love or a smile using the Sending Roses image and sentiment stamps. You can use this large rose stamp as the main attraction for your handmade valentine card. Or stamp a LOVELY background like Allison did on this romantic handmade card!
Allison started with a white cardstock panel. She stamped the large rose image around the edges and heat embossed the images in white. Next she used Distress Oxide Ink to add color to her heat embossed panel. She die cut the heart shape out of the middle of her embossed panel. Then she added the "Sending" die cut element (which is included with the Sending Roses set of dies) and stamped the sentiment "lots of love" inside her card (which is included in the rose stamp set). Guest designer Adelina Starace made this super-cute Valentine’s Day card using the Sassy Love Your Guts stamps and matching dies. She stamped several chocolate bar accents and ice cream cones. She colored her candy bar and ice cream accents with markers and die cut them out. Then she finished up this sassy card with a few sequins. More Funny Love or Valentines Day Cards!
You know that teenager (or husband) in your life who you adore... but who also knows how to push your buttons? Make them a card like this by guest designer Candace Perkins. Then tuck it into their lunchbox, backpack, or briefcase!
Candace created this cute little card using the You Aren’t Normal stamp set. She stamped the sentiment on a starburst-shaped chipboard piece and added a little red embossed heart. It seems like the perfect way to let someone know you love them unconditionally!
Or maybe you have been really pushing someone's buttons and need to thank them for putting up with you. Candace used a second sentiment from the You Aren’t Normal stamp set to make this thank you card. It's perfect for your best friend or family member who loves you no matter what! Is It Possible to Have Too Many Die-Cut Hearts?
Nothing says love like a whole bunch of die cut hearts. Well except maybe die cut hearts and die cut words that say Love You! Check out these beautifully bold and simple cards by guest designer Tricia Barber.
This card is really all about the die cuts! Tricia started by using the Cascading Hearts Border Die to cut out the column of hearts along the edge of a white panel. She used watercolor paper and shimmer powder to create a second panel that she put behind the white column of die-cut hearts. Then she used the border die again to cut out 3 shiny-gold hearts that she inlaid back into the column of white die-cut hearts. Finally she used the Say It 2 - Love You Crafting Dies to make the glittery "Love You" sentiment. Don't you bet the gold die cut accents are even lovelier in person!
On this card Tricia created a striped background with various pink cardstock strips. Then she used the Say It 2 Love You dies to cut out four scripty Love words from white cardstock. The fifth time she cut both the Love and the You words out of shiny, gold paper. This card is easy to make and also very charming!
Tricia’s third card features a row of colorful, die-cut hearts. Those hearts started out as left-over white elements that Tricia made when she used the Cascading Hearts Border die to to make the white column of hearts for her first card. Instead of just throwing away the left over white hearts, she added color to each of the die-cut heart pieces. Then Tricia lined them up in rainbow order on the front of this card. She stamped a sentiment and decorative arrow from the Simply You 2.0 stamp set to finish up her card. You can learn more about these projects on Tricia's blog.

DIY Masculine Cards!
Take it from a guy... the next two cards are examples of the kind of handmade cards your boyfriend, husband, or significant other would like to get for his birthday, Valentine's Day, or just to say I love you! Daniel West used the Love You to Pieces stamp set to make the sentiments on both of his cards. But he used two different love-themed sets of dies. Check out both of Daniel's STUNNING cards!
On his first card, he blended some blue ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Then Daniel used the Pieces of My Heart dies to cut out a blue, puzzle-shaped heart accent and a white one too. I love how he took the middle piece out of the blue heart and put it back into the other white, heart-shaped puzzle accent!
On his second card, Daniel used the same colors of ink to make the background. Then he used the Love Puzzle set of dies and white cardstock to make the accent for this card. The word LOVE looks so classy showing through the white die cut puzzle pieces!

Make Some Cute Cuddly Animal Valentine's Day Cards
There's something about cute, cuddly animals that just says LOVE! And these fox cards by Norine Borys would definitely work as a card for a gorgeous friend, a Valentine for your husband, or for "just because I love you" cards to give to your kids (or grand kids)!
Norine used the Felicity & Flynn the Foxes stamps and dies on both of her ADORABLE love-themed cards. She stamped the foxes and colored them with Zig Clean Color brush markers. Then she die cut them out. She created the heart accents that crisscross her project using the Heart Strings dies. If you send someone a card like this one, they will KNOW that you love them so much!
Wouldn't you love to make a card like this for your best friend's birthday, a funny card for your beautiful adult child, or as a handmade romantic card for your husband! Norine used the other fox and the "Hello Foxy" sentiment from the Felicity & Flynn stamp set to make this card. She cut out more heart accents (using the Heart Strings dies) and cut the accents down to fit across the stenciled heart.
