WOW! & Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Day 2
Hi everyone... Bev here today. If you arrived here by following the links in the WOW! Embossing Powder and Technique Tuesday collaboration blog hop, this is your last stop and the very last project. Please don't tell my sister-in-law... it's a birthday card for her. She loves fireworks so I hope she likes this card!
I used one of the fireworks images from the Spectacular Memories stamp set along with Opaque Bright White Embossing powder to make the card front. The Opaque Bright White covered the Oxide Ink background beautifully and is such a lovely bright white color!
To make the sentiment for the front of the card, I stamped the "Time to Sparkle" sentiment (also from the Spectacular Memories set) and heat embossed it using my new favorite Midnight Dream embossing powder. Then I cut the sentiment out using the smallest label from the Essential Stitched Labels dies.
I stamped the words "Happy Birthday" (from the Lots of Sentiments stamp set) inside and used the Midnight Dream embossing powder. Having the sparkly blue sentiments on the front and inside of the card makes everything seem so coordinated.
I hope you saw lots of projects along this hop that inspire you to get out your stamps, dies, and embossing powder and make some summery projects of your own. Don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post too. We'd like to hear which project (or projects) you are planning to recreate or that inspired you the most!
PS: If you missed Day 1 of this blog hop, here's a link to it. And here's a link to the start of the Day 2 hop too. Both of these posts have all the details about how to enter for a chance to win some fun prizes.

Never done a blog hop before and while not a fan of it, in all honesty, I’m glad I did it because I came away learning a lot about available products and different techniques. I consider myself enriched. Still frustrated I couldn’t easily find where to comment or login on a couple of international sites.
