Project Ideas Featuring the New Love Is In The Air Stamp Set!

Project ideas for Valentine's Day...

Hey friends, it’s Shelley! Have you started thinking about your Valentine's Day projects? While I was out packing some orders in the warehouse today, I noticed lots of loved-themed stamps and dies that have me inspired. Here are some project ideas to get your creativity flowing! (Clink on the project pictures to learn more about the featured products. Or see them all in the Love Collection!)

Shake things up! Although it’s hard to see in this photo, the die cut Love Puzzle pieces on this card are raised to make a shaker box filled with sequins. Interactive cards are such fun to receive!

Create a sweet paper airplane border inside and out: Cut a border along the outside edge of your card using the Paper Airplane border dies. The pink airplane and heart-trail are glued to the inside so when the flap is lifted the plane is sailing across the inside of the card as well. (Tutorial Coming Soon! Just Charming: There are 6 different dies in the Charming Hearts craft die set and it’s only $9.99! These delicate dies are great on cards or tied to packages. Cut them from shiny metallic gold or silver paper and they almost look like jewelry!

Sassy Sentiments: Valentine messages don’t have to be sentimental. If you’re looking for a sentiment will a little attitude, add some humor to your cards with the Love Stinks or You’re Not Normal stamp sets.

Piece it together: This unique card combines die cut puzzle pieces from the Pieces of My Heart craft die and a stamped image. Stamp and color the Cherry Blossom stamp set on white cardstock. Then position the puzzle die over the cherry blossom image and run it through your die cutting machine. It’s also fun to stamp a message and put the loose puzzle pieces in an envelope for the recipient to put together!

Punny Valentines: Remember the Valentines you received in school with adorable animals and punny sayings? You can re-create the nostalgia using your favorite critters from stamps in the Animal House collection, like Frederick and Fiona Fox.

Send Some Love: Consider sending Valentines to someone other than your sweetie. Brighten the day of an elderly friend or reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a long time with an unexpected card. This cheerful greeting features the Sending Love craft die and Love is in the Air stamp set.

Lots of Love: This card goes together in a heartbeat! Just die cut the word “Love” from the Long Love craft die set in a rainbow of colors, add a couple hearts and there will be no question how you feel!

One die, lots of impact: The Cascading Heart border die is sized perfectly to create a border down the edge of an A2 card in one quick cut. You can keep your project time to a minimum by cutting the border and letting the hearts fall out, then place a piece of red paper inside to shine through the open hearts. Or fill in the hearts by cutting the die on various colors of cardstock and piecing it back together.

Love takes flight: The new Love is in the Air stamp set makes my heart happy! The simple images lend themselves to all kinds of coloring mediums, but won’t take a lot of time to finish. I also like the versatility of the set as I can use it for cards but also my scrapbook layouts.

After looking at all these projects from our creative team, I can’t wait to get started on some cards of my own…I just have to decide which I LOVE the most! Which card inspires you?
