Fall Favorites Projects

Hi everyone... are you enjoying this autumn day? This is Bev and I have a confession. I have a love / hate relationship with fall. I love the colors and the cool, crisp air. But in Oregon, as the seasons change, we start having more gray, rainy days. I really miss being outside in the sunlight. So today we're going to focus on beautiful fall projects instead!

Let's start with the new Happy Thanksgiving stamp set. At first glance, this stamp set might look like it is for scrapbookers and pocket page memory keepers who are documenting their Thanksgiving memories. But our design team has made it clear that these stamps work well for cards, planner spreads, and home decor projects too. I hope you'll be inspired by the projects in the 1-minute intro video and from our design team!

This card by Amy Kolling is simply GORGEOUS! She used markers to add color to each of the images in the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set. She fussy cut out the images and used dimensional foam to make her accents really pop. Here's a link to Amy's blog post with some additional details about how she made this card!

Remember the place cards that were featured in the intro video? Good news... yesterday, Teri Anderson shared a tutorial here on our blog showing how she made these adorable place cards. They are easy to make and will look so fine on your Thanksgiving table. Here's the link!

Technique Tuesday-Happy Thanksgiving-Kymona Tracey

Who said the new Happy Thanksgiving stamps are only for scrapbook pages? We didn’t! We love how Kymona Tracey used these stamps to reserve some space in her planner where she will write her blessings on Thanksgiving day. You can learn more about Kymona's project on her blog!

Emily-Leiphart_Happy-Thanksgiving_4-adjusted

What a WONDERFUL card by Emily Leiphart! She stamped and fussy cut out each of the images from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set. Then she stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum and arranged the images she had cut out around the sentiment. What a creative way to give thanks. Here's a link to Emily's blog where she shares more details!

I hope you enjoyed seeing these projects and that you are inspired to make some fall and Thanksgiving projects of your own. If you are a member of the Memory Keepers Studio auto-ship program, the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set is on it's way to you. Not a member... you can order your Happy Thanksgiving stamps now!
