Four Totally Tweet Cards for Your Viewing Pleasure
Hi, everyone!
We're focusing today on the new Christmas Birds stamp set. This sweet little stamp set features a couple birds and Christmas icons, plus a number of sentiments perfect for your holiday cards.
Wait a minute. Yes, I know. It's still Summer and I'm talking about Christmas. But Christmas will be here before you know it. I know some of you like to get working on those Christmas cards early and are already collecting ideas for this year's Christmas card design! This post is for you!
The Technique Tuesday Design Team has some totally clever ideas for you. Check it out.
Dana Joy created a sweet little scene by stamping and die-cutting a couple birds and the sleigh and having them peek out of a window. She completes the scene by stamping a sentiment on one of the window's panels. How cute!
Have you see a basket of birds before? Jill Dewey Hawkins created the most adorable card by pairing the Christmas Birds stamps and dies with the Berry Basket dies. To give her basket the feel of a real bird's nest, she added some paper shreds to it.
While Jill's card is a Christmas card, you could easily change the sentiment to a more generic one and send this card out any time this Winter!
And here's one more idea for you.
Make a singing trio of birds. Use masking to stamp a row of birds. Then add some stamped music notes above their heads so it looks like they are singing.
And here's one final idea! Turn one of the set's birds into Santa Bird! Create a scene where one of the birds is pulling the sleigh and spreading joy, just like Santa Claus! If only this sweet little bird would come visit my house!
I hope you've enjoyed these ideas for the Christmas Birds stamps! We'll be releasing more Christmas stamps and dies over the next few months. Be sure to watch our blog and newsletter for the scoop. Not getting the newsletter? Sign up right here.

Christmas birds are totally adorable and will be winging their way to my “nest”.
