The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop - Day 2

30 Days Coloring Challenge from The Daily Marker

Hi, friends!

Technique Tuesday is excited to be taking part in the second day of a fun blog hop celebrating The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Have you heard of the challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin? The challenge, which started again on June 1st, is all about coloring. This is the 10th time Kathy has hosted this challenge.

The premise of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is to color something everyday even if it’s only just for five or 10 minutes. However, if you don't have time to commit to taking part in it everyday, you are still invited to play whenever you have time.

All coloring mediums are welcomed. You can upload your projects  here  or on Instagram or in a private Daily Marker Facebook group. Remember to use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day  and tag @kathyrac when you share your projects!

Some of the Technique Tuesday Design Team members have been taking part in the challenge this time.

Funny Fruit stamped images by Jill Dewey HawkinsJill Dewey Hawkins used markers to color in these adorable peaches and bananas from the Funny Fruits. The wiggle eyes perfectly finish them off!

Stamped Geese by Kymona Tracey for Technique TuesdayKymona Tracey did some stamping and coloring in her planner! She even tied her coloring of the birds from Duck Swan Goose to National Repeat Day. Fun!

Jellyfish stamped card by Emily LeiphartEmily Leiphart used watercolors to color in these jellyfish from Sassy Love Your Guts and then put them on card. Don't you love how she added color to the stamped sentiment too?

In need of some coloring inspiration to get going with the challenge (or to get your through it)? We've got some great videos on our website that feature coloring.

This one by Julie features colored pencils and shows you how to do no-line coloring on vellum. It's one of my favorite videos! Julie's results are stunning!

Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop today! There are some prizes up for grabs, plus there's even more coloring inspiration!

Happy blog hopping!

Wonderful coloring. Love the googly eyes on the fruit. I like to color with Copic markers.

Beautiful coloring! So fun! I have mainly been using colored pencils.

I like the clean color brush markers to color with!

Nice coloring by the team! So far I'm liking markers and colored pencils as I'm practicing my coloring. Love the video showing the no line coloring on vellum--beautifully colored lily!

This vellum coloring technique is amazing! Sheer genius!!! So is the flower stamp set!!! I normally color with my markers, but for the last 6 months or so, I've really been practicing with my colored pencils. I still need to learn to get better at being light handed so I can add more layers, but I've gotten a little better. Videos like this help a lot!

Oh yes! This is fantastic!

I have lots of different coloring tools, but I'm loving my set of alcohol markers I got from Amazon---cheaper than copics, but almost as nice!

beautiful creations with amazing stamps!! thanks for sharing :)

The googly eyes are sooo cute on the banana. I love the jellyfish card too. At the moment, I'm loving using my zigs as they are so vibrant and blend beautifully
