The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge Blog Hop - Day 2
June 16, 2018
Hi, friends!
Technique Tuesday is excited to be taking part in the second day of a fun blog hop celebrating The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
Have you heard of the challenge hosted by Kathy Racoosin? The challenge, which started again on June 1st, is all about coloring. This is the 10th time Kathy has hosted this challenge.
The premise of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge” is to color something everyday even if it’s only just for five or 10 minutes. However, if you don't have time to commit to taking part in it everyday, you are still invited to play whenever you have time.
All coloring mediums are welcomed. You can upload your projects here or on Instagram or in a private Daily Marker Facebook group. Remember to use the hashtag #thedailymarker30day and tag @kathyrac when you share your projects!
Some of the Technique Tuesday Design Team members have been taking part in the challenge this time.
Jill Dewey Hawkins used markers to color in these adorable peaches and bananas from the Funny Fruits. The wiggle eyes perfectly finish them off!
Kymona Tracey did some stamping and coloring in her planner! She even tied her coloring of the birds from Duck Swan Goose to National Repeat Day. Fun!
Emily Leiphart used watercolors to color in these jellyfish from Sassy Love Your Guts and then put them on card. Don't you love how she added color to the stamped sentiment too?
In need of some coloring inspiration to get going with the challenge (or to get your through it)? We've got some great videos on our website that feature coloring.
This one by Julie features colored pencils and shows you how to do no-line coloring on vellum. It's one of my favorite videos! Julie's results are stunning!
Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop today! There are some prizes up for grabs, plus there's even more coloring inspiration!
And Technique Tuesday is giving away a prize too! Let us what you like to use to color with. Markers, colored pencils or watercolors? We'll pick someone at random to score a $25 gift card to our website. Comments will be taken until midnight on June 17th, 2018. The lucky winner will be announced on June 19th here on our blog.
Happy blog hopping!
The jelly fish sentiment really happened to my friends. Their little boy really not understand that his dad was trying to save him a whole lotta pain!

I like to color with the Zig markers and
with colored pencils. I'm an advanced
beginner - getting more confident with my
work - and these two mediums have been
wonderful to work with. thanks for sharing
