Create a Sassy Birthday Card with the Cheeky Chicken

Like stamps that are a little on the sassy side?

The Cheeky Chicken stamp set might be your new favorite. This 3" x 4" stamp set features original, hand drawn artwork and an assortment of sassy phrases.

A fun way to use this stamp set is to create a background with the images.

Jill Dewey Hawkins did just that on this card here! She stamped the chicken and the egg several times randomly with waterproof ink on white cardstock.

She added color to the chickens with watercolor markers and diluted the color with a water pen. If you don't have watercolor markers, consider using traditional watercolors. Another idea is to use Distress Inks. Swipe the pads on a stamping block and then use a water pen to pull some color and color in the images.

She finished the card by embossing a birthday sentiment on cardstock and then stapling it to panel. Not wanting to make a birthday card? Use a different sentiment in the stamp set or check out some of our other birthday and celebration stamps

PS. Are you a die-cutter? There are coordinating dies available for the Cheeky Chicken stamps. In fact, we've got a number of coordinating crafting dies available for our stamps!
