Winter Coffee Loving Paper Crafters Blog Hop

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Hi everyone!

It's the last day of the Winter Coffee Loving Paper Crafters Bloghop, and we couldn't resist stopping by and sharing another one of our favorite coffee-themed cards.

This one by Jill Dewey Hawkins? Well, let's just say that we love it ... a latteCoffee-Adulting-Handmade-Card-Jill-H-Technique-Tuesday

Can anyone out there relate? Wink!

Jill created a custom patterned paper for her card by repeatedly stamping the coffee cup from the Sassy Coffee clear stamps onto purple cardstock. So fun!

Sassy-Coffee-Clear-Stamps-Technique-TuesdayThe sentiment she used is also from the stamp set. To add extra emphasis to the phrase, Jill stamped the phrase over and then added checkmarks cut with the Clipboard crafting dies.

Be sure to check out the hop! Lots of great coffee-themed cards to check out. And Technique Tuesday is pleased to be one of the super sponsors of the hop too!

Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

It's time again for the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop! What is it, you ask? Well, this fun blog hop features work from paper crafters all over the world. Each hop project has a coffee-themed twist!

Technique Tuesday is one the sponsors of the hop, which starts today and runs through Friday, Dec. 15th. Go here to see all the hop participants and to learn more about the hop.

We couldn't let the hop start without contributing a card to the line-up! And we just love this coffee-themed card our friend, Jenn Brown, created. In fact, we love it a latte! Get it? Wink!

More-Coffee-Cups-Stack-Handmade-Card-Jenn-B-Technique-TuesdayWant to create a stack of coffee cups like Jenn did? You can do it with masking. Take the coffee cup from the Perk Up clear stamps and stamp it onto your card. Stamp it a second time on a sticky note and fussy cut it out with your scissors. Place the mask on top of your first stamped cup. Stamp the cup a second time. Move the mask and stamp the cup again. Repeat this process until you have a whole stack of cups.

Perk-Up-Clear-Stamps-Technique-TuesdayTake even more inspiration from Jenn in making your coffee cups truly unique by coloring them in with markers and then adding some random doodles to each one with a white pen. Complete your scene by stamping some coffee beans (also from the Perk Up stamp set) at the bottom of the cup stack.

While Jenn used a sentiment from the Perk Up set on her card, there are a number of phrases from the Sassy Coffee set that would have worked well too.

Sassy-Coffee-Clear-Stamps-Technique-TuesdayThanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check out the hop page to see all the projects so far and to link up one of your own coffee-themed projects!

We Like These Cards... A Waffle Lot!

Like waffles? How about waffles in stamp form?

Meet the Waffle Lot stamp set. This sweet little set of clear stamps is perfect for making punny cards to send your loved ones and friends.

Here are some fun ways to use the stamp set!

Pair the stamp set with the Penny Slider crafting dies to make a slider card!

Two waffles smashing into each other? So fun!
Like-You-Waffles-Handmade-Card-Jill-Technique-TuesdayKick up the silliness of your card like Jill did by adding wiggle eyes to the waffles. Another fun idea? Add a couple hearts to make it look like your waffles are in love!

Create a fun background paper by stamping several hearts and waffles in black ink.

Do what Jenn Brown did. Rather than coloring all the waffles in with markers, only color one waffle. Apply red ink to all the hearts.

Here's another take on a making a waffle-themed patterned paper! This time, do what Ashley did. Cover an entire panel of cardstock with waffles and hearts and color everything in!
Waffle-Lot-Of-Waffles-Handmade-Card-Ashley-H-Technique-TuesdayThis paper looks great on a card! It would also work well on a scrapbook page. Imagine using it to document a family breakfast or to jot down a favorite recipe.

You "butter" believe we'd love to see what you've been making with the Waffle Lot stamp set! Share your projects with us on Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to use the #TechniqueTuesday hashtag.
