Handmade Stamped Cards Inspired by Kindness Rocks

Hi everyone!

Teri here. Have you heard of the Kindness Rocks Project? This project is pretty simple. Paint some rocks with a message or a sweet design and randomly leave them for someone to find. They may be found by children or adults. And they can keep or hide the rocks again for someone else to find.

I walk most mornings in a number of my town's parks. And I've stumbled on quite a few of these rocks lately. They've been placed on trees, left on benches and even left next to walls. My favorite rock find yet? This inspiring rock I found on a bench on a particularly stressful morning. It sure made me smile.

That got me thinking about Technique Tuesday's Rock Family clear stamp set. I'm going to use it to make a few rock-inspired cards to send to my favorite rock finders and rock painters.

Tam created this fun birthday card by using non-traditional colors to color in the rocks.

Hope-Your-Birthday-Rocks-Handmade-Card-Punny-Technique-TuesdayI just love the stack with the two baby rocks. Can you imagine finding a stack of Kindness Rocks looking just like that? So fun!

I made a stamped card as well.

Rock-Bottom-Handmade-Card-Rocks-Teri-A-Technique-TuesdayI went more traditional by coloring in the rocks with grays and browns. Now that I've found a few Kindness Rocks, I'm inspired to make another card with these stamps and follow Tam's lead by using non-traditional colors!
