Hi everyone!
Teri here, and I'm excited to share with you a couple love-themed cards created with Technique Tuesday's Charming Hearts DIY Steel Dies. These cards would be great to give for Valentine's Day or on an anniversary, or even when you randomly just want to let someone you care about know you are thinking of them!
The Charming Hearts dies are super cute with hearts incorporated into each shape. There are charms, tags and banners! Oh, how fun they are!
I used the dies in a very traditional way to make this first card by making some banners. I just love banners!
I adhered each of the banners to my card and then poked holes to stitch twine through them. This helped to make them look like they were hanging!
You''ll notice I filled in some of the banners with hearts! I used the hearts left over from when I cut the banners out.
I did something different with my second card. I created the design by taking several of the charms and arranging them together in a grid pattern.
I filled some of the charms with hearts. And to make the hearts pop, I applied glitter glue to some of them. Glitter glue is a great way to give a card bit of glitz without a lot of bulk!
You might be wondering about the sentiments on these cards. They both came from the You Aren't Normal clear stamp set. It's such a fun, sassy stamp set.
