Story Card Sunday: Collect Moments
Hi everyone!
It's time for another installment of Story Card Sunday.
Follow along and I'll show you how to make a pocket page-friendly insert card like this.
This card would be perfect to use in a pocket page or a traditional scrapbook page. It would also look swell on a greeting card.
Start by cutting a base card with the Story Card dies. You'll also want to cut a dragonfly with the Dragonfly dies.
Set the dragonfly on scratch paper. Pull out an assortment of markers and color on top.
Remove the dragonfly from the scratch paper and you'll end up with something like this. (Not a dragonfly fan? Consider using Technique Tuesday's Happy Butterfly dies instead.)
Adhere the dragonfly to your base card.
Stamp a sentiment below the dragonfly. The one I used is from the Inspired Dragonfly stamp set.
Use a pen to draw a swirl from the dragonfly. Also add a few sequins or gems to embellish the card.
I hope you enjoyed this week's Story Card Sunday tutorial. Tune in next week to learn how to make another one.
Teri, you always have the neatest ideas. Thanks for the inspiration. :-D
