Like pretty cards? We think you are going to love what we've got for you today.
Up first is this beauty!
How can you create a card like Mary Dawn's? Easy! You can do it with partial die-cutting. Take the flower die for the Hyacinth steel dies. Set it on cardstock. Cover it partially with a cutting plate. Run it through your die-cutting and you'll have a partial cut.
Use your scissors or a paper trimmer to cut a straight line from the top of the cut and from the bottom of the cut. Then you get to do the fun stuff: Stamp!
She kept her card soft and sweet by heat embossing the flower with white embossing powder and then coloring it in. So pretty! And how about how the flowers are different shades of pink? It just really adds to the realism of her card. Bravo, bravo!
A big thanks to Mary Dawn for sharing her creativity with us and making so many wonderful projects with Technique Tuesday's clear stamps and steel dies. Thank you again, Mary Dawn!
