Story Card Sunday: My Worst Adventure

Hi everyone!

It's Sunday, which means it is time for another pocket page-friendly Story Card tutorial! Please give it up for this week's card.

Worst Adventure Story Card from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comYou can make a card like this easily with Technique Tuesday's clear stamps and steel dies. Let me show you how.

Start by cutting a base card with the Story Card dies. You'll also want to cut a "my" word and three arrows with the Greatest dies, as well as a "worst" with the This Week's dies. (Feeling adventurous? Cut a "best" word instead!)

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comTake the base card and stamp the triangles from the Good Stuff stamp set once onto it.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comWithout reinking, stamp the triangles a second time. Just be sure to move the stamp to the right just a hair.

On your mark. Get set. Here we go!

Greatest Blessing by Mary Dawn Quirindongo for Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comTalk about a beautiful card! You like?

Mary Dawn created this stunner with the Hyacinth stamp set. That gorgeous field of Hyacinth flowers was created with masking. And then she added color to each flower. Don't you love how they aren't the same color? It just adds to the richness of this pretty scene.

To round out her scene, she die-cut a couple dragonflies with the Hyacinth dies and then stamped on top. Again, she colored each of them with a different color.

For more inspiration from Mary Dawn, tune in on Thursdays. We'll be sharing her work over the next few weeks. Here's a sneak peek from Mary Dawn at something else she's made with the Hyacinth stamp set that we'll be sharing soon!
