Story Card Sunday: Red Lacy Heart
Hi all!
It's time for another installment of Story Card Sunday. I think you are going to love, love, love it.
Like many of the Story Cards we feature here on the Technique Tuesday blog, this one is pocket page-friendly. It would also look swell on a traditional scrapbook page or greeting card.
Let me show you how to make one like it.
Start by die-cutting the Lacy Heart from cardstock. You'll also want to cut a base card with the Story Card dies.
Set the heart on scratch paper. Ink up a sponge with dye ink and then sponge ink onto it. Continue inking until the heart is completely covered. (Having issues with the heart moving around as you ink? Consider placing some temporary adhesive under it.)
Adhere the heart to base card. Stamp a sentiment underneath the heart. The sentiment I used is from the Together Forever stamp set.
Embellish the heart by adhering sequins in some of the heart's openings. Not a fan of sequins? Use gems or enamel dots instead.
I'll be back again next Sunday with another Story Card Sunday tutorial to share with you. Hope to see you then!
Gorgeous story card, TFS Teri!
