Story Card Sunday: Love You Treat
Hi all!
Looking for a simple but cute Valentine's card to make in large quantities? This week's Story Card Sunday card is just that.
Let me show you how you can make one (or several) just like it!
Start by doing some die-cutting with the Clipboard steel dies. You are going to want to cut a base, paper and clip for each card you want to make.
Stamp "love you" with the Love Borders stamp set toward the bottom of the smaller rectangle.
Set the longer "sweetheart" stamp on a stamping block. Use Washi tape or masking tape to mask off all the words other than the "sweetheart" one.
Remove the tape and stamp the word onto the card.
Adhere the smaller rectangle to the base card. Place the clip at the top.
Using adhesive, place a wrapped heart candy onto the Story Card. Don't have any heart candies? Any flat treat or small party favor will do.
And here are a couple alternatives to this Story Card.
Both of these were also stamped with the Love Borders stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this week's tutorial. Tune in next Sunday for another Story Card Sunday.
These are so fun!
