Story Card Sunday... on Monday: Love You to the Moon

Hi all!

Are you ready to learn how to make another pocket page-friendly Story Card?

This week's Story Card Sunday tutorial is a fun one! Let's get started.

To The Moon Story Card from TechniqueTuesday.comTo make a Story Card like this one, you are going to need to do some die-cutting.

Cut a base card from black cardstock with the Story Card dies. Cut three small stars with the Nested Stars dies and one small heart with the Nested Hearts dies. You'll also want to cut one hexagon with the Hexagon dies.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comSet the base card on scratch paper or a surface you don't mind getting messy. Spritz the base card with white spray mist. Don't have white spray mist? Silver or gold mist would be a nice substitute. You can also make your own spray mist with water and paint.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comLet the mist dry. And then tap on some color with red, blue and green inks. It's important that you tap the ink on rather than rub it on. It's also important to note that the color tinting will be very, very, very subtle.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comAdd the stars and heart. Embellish the heart by adding a gem or enamel dot to it.

Tune in next Sunday for another installment of Story Card Sunday. I'll show you another Story Card you can make to use on a pocket page, in a traditional scrapbook or on a greeting card. Hope to see you then!

What a great story card! I love that sweet sentiment!
