Happy Story Card Sunday! I'm excited to show you how to make this super cute pocket page-friendly Story Card.
Heat emboss the cup of cocoa and a sentiment from the Christmas Calories stamp set onto the rectangle with white embossing powder.
Now you are going to do some coloring.
Color in the mug. I used an alcohol-based marker so I just colored right over the snowflakes, which changed them from white to a light blue. If you use a non-alcohol based marker, use a paper towel to remove any ink that pools on top of the embossing powder.
Adhere the rectangle to postage base card. Use a hole punch to add a hole to the top. Bring twine through the hole and tie a bow in front.
While this Story Card would work great on a card or scrapbook page, you could also use it as a gift tag. Simply add a little more twine to it and hang it onto a cocoa or coffee cup to give as a holiday gift.
I'll be back again next week with another Story Card Sunday tutorial. Hope to see you then!
