A Technique Tuesday Tip for Photos
Story Card Sunday: Daily Grind

Clever Scrapbook Pages and Cards Inspired by School

Hi everyone!

Summer's officially over, and school is back in session all over.

And we thought it would be fun to throw out a Back-to-School Challenge to the Technique Tuesday Creative Team. We asked our team members to make a project that incorporated some kind of school or office supply.

We think you will find that the results of this challenge are definitely worthy of a A+!  Check this out!

Hello Friends card by Jaclyn Miller for TechniqueTuesday.comCan you believe Jaclyn Miller used crayons to make the heart pattern on this card?!

"The hearts were created by heating up a crayon on a hot iron covered with wax paper and then drawing on the cardstock. I then spray misted over it all after it was dry. I used stamps from the new Besties set, and from the old How Are You set."

Such a fun idea!

Back to School layout by Linda Barber for TechniqueTuesday.comNotebook paper goes hand in hand with school and students! And it makes the perfect back drop for this school-inspired scrapbook page by Linda Barber. And those banners Linda created with the Random Thoughts stamp set compliment it perfectly!

You Got This by Tobi Crawford for TechniqueTuesday.com
Tobi Crawford also used a notebook style ledger paper on her card. And she added a library-themed patterned paper to her design.
The "You Got This" phrase from the Kinda Wonderful stamp set makes this the perfect encouragement card to give to a student or teacher.

Daniela Dobson used several different school supplies on her page: a tag, staples and paperclips.
And check out the stamping she did with the Big Timber Outline Lowercase and Big Timber Lowercase stamp sets.

"For the stamping in the background, I inked the full stamp set while still on the sheet and used it as a stamping block. That particular set was still new, and the stamps in their original places.
I used the matching stamp set to stamp over some of the letters."
What a great idea!
