Story Card Sunday: It's Your Day

Hi everybody!

On your mark. Get set. It's Sunday. That means I've got a brand new Story Card Sunday tutorial for you.

It's Your Day Story Card from TechniqueTuesday.comThis pocket page-friendly Story Card was easy to make with steel dies and clear stamps from Technique Tuesday. Here's the scoop on how you can make one like it.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comStart by cutting two large rectangles, one clip and one small rectangle with the Clipboard dies. Cut a star from cork with the Nested Stars dies. And cut a medium and large circle with the Circles dies.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comAdhere the small rectangle to one of the larger rectangles. Then adhere the pair onto the remaining rectangle. Use your scissors or a paper trimmer to cut away the excess.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comPlace the clip onto the Story Card. Add the circles.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comPlace the star onto the Story Card. Stamp a sentiment. I am using a phrase from Technique Tuesday's The Best Things stamp set

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comTie twine onto the clip. Add a bow. Snip off the edges.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comFinish the Story Card by adding an enamel dot or brad to the center of the star. And there you have it! Not a pocket page memory keeper? This Story Card would look great on a traditional scrapbook page or greeting card!

Tune in again next week for another installment of Story Card Sunday! Hope you will join the fun!
