Story Card Sunday: Hello Stained Glass

Hi all!

Sunday means it is time for another installment of Story Card Sunday

You are in for a treat! This week's Story Card mimics the look of stained glass!

A Story Card for TechniqueTuesday.comFun, huh?

Let me show you how to make a pocket page-friendly card like this one!

Start by die-cutting two base cards cards with the Story Card steel dies from vellum. You'll also want to cut two cards with Simply Circles steel die. One should be cut from craft foam and one should be cut from cardstock. Cut a "hello" word with the Hello Pocket steel dies. Cut the word from cardstock or craft foam. You'll also want to cut a strip of cardstock that fits all the way across the one of the base cards.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comFlip it over. Use alcohol-based markers to color over the circle openings. Don't worry if your coloring is not totally perfect. This technique is forgiving.

I'll be back again next Sunday with another Story Card Sunday tutorial! Hope to see you then!

Another great card idea. Thanks for sharing.

Teri, this is a great idea. Have to make sure I have the die before I ran and order.

Oooh, I like this! Great die. Neat "stained glass" look. :)

What a fun and creative card! Love the colored vellum!
