Big Timber Week: Creating an "Irresistible" Look with Letters

Hi everyone!

Teri here, and I'm excited to be here today with a project created with Technique Tuesday's Big Timber Outline Uppercase stamp set. I just love the outline style of the Big Timber stamps. With uppercase and lowercase options, you can do so much.

I want to show you a fun way today to do resist with these stamps. Let me first show you a card I used the stamps on.

Hello Stars card from TechniqueTuesday.comFun, huh?

Now let me show you how I used resist to create look with the letters.

Resist Technique Tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comFirst, I heat embossed the phrase with watercolor ink and white embossing powder on watercolor paper.

I kept going until the white embossed letters completely appeared. (Trying that home? You may need more than one block's worth of color! Just scribble a little more color onto your stamping block and transfer it. If you are using multiple colors of watercolor crayons like I did, make sure you use the same colors or you'll end up with a muddy mess.)

Remove the block and you'll end up with something like this.

Tune in tomorrow to see something else made with Technique Tuesday's Big Timber stamp sets. Hope to see you then!
