Die Week: Adding Dimension Without Bulk from Daniela
Hi all!
Welcome back to Die Week!
We've been showcasing Technique Tuesday's DIY Steel Dies all week here. And today we've got a fun card from Daniela Dobson that uses a number of our dies.
Talk about lovely! What's so cool about Daniela's card is she added a lot of dimension with die-cuts. Look close and you'll see six different die-cuts underneath that pretty butterfly she stamped with the Oh Happy Day stamp set. Die-cuts are a great way to add dimension to a card without adding a lot of weight and bulk, which helps keep the card affordable to mail!
And I sure love how Daniela stacked together the die-cuts (cut with the Marquee Label, Photo Frame, This Tag, Label and Story Card steel dies). Looks so great!
To see another cool card Daniela made with Technique Tuesday's steel dies, check out this post on her blog! You'll see a cool DIY flower she made with the Happy Butterfly and Marquee Label dies. Here's a sneak peek!
And be sure to stop by this blog again on Friday. Another Technique Tuesday Creative Team member will be here with another project made with our dies! Hope to see you then!
PS. Want some free hugs? You can get the Straight Talk - Hugs die for free this week. Spend $30 or more on TechniqueTuesday.com by Sunday, June 21st, 2015, and Technique Tuesday will include it for free with your order. There's no need to add the Straight Talk - Hugs die to your cart, but be sure to write "Hug Me" in the Comments field at checkout so we know to include the die for free with your order when we ship it.
