Sunday means it is time for a Story Card, and this week's is a fun one!
Like many of the Story Cards we feature, this one is pocket page friendly. It would also work well on a traditional scrapbook page or greeting card.
Let me show you how you can make one like it.
Start by die-cutting a base card with Technique Tuesday's Story Card steel dies. Cut one globe face with the Let's Go steel dies. Cut one circle with Circles dies. Cut a globe and star with the Here Globe dies.
Sponge blue ink onto the circle.
Stamp the words with the On Vacation - Memory Keepers Studio clear stamp set under it with white pigment ink.
I hope to see you again next week for another installment of Story Card Sunday!
Got someone graduating? Here's a fun idea for a card to make for your graduate!
Globes go hand in a hand with school and are the perfect accent to use on a graduation card! I made this one with the help of Technique Tuesday's Here Globe and Let's Go steel dies. These dies can be used on their own or together.
In fact, I masked off a several words from one stamp with Washi tape just to use that "to" word.
On your mark. Get set. Let the shipping begin!

And gosh, what a fun one Daniela Dobson made! It's definitely one of those CARDS. Check this out.
The words? Daniela stamped them with the On Vacation stamp set. Don't let the name of the stamp set deceive you. While this card could be given to someone going on vacation, it could easily do duty as a non-traditional graduation, engagement or wedding card!
Thanks for letting us share your card, Daniela!

Teri here with a quick Technique Tuesday Tip!
It's easy to get the chalkboard look! Die-cut a globe with the Here Globe steel dies from black cardstock. Use white pens and markers to write a word on it. You can add "chalk" marks by applying ink to the edges of the globe and rubbing your finger on the white ink while it is still wet! It's that easy!
You can find the Here Globe steel dies on the New for 2015 page on the Technique Tuesday website. The dies coordinate with a number of clear stamp sets just released.
Constellations (or night skies) are a really popular design to see on T-shirts right now, and I've come up with a fun way to mimic that look. Check out this card I made.
And here's how you can make your own DIY Constellation paper to use on a greeting card.
Start with a piece of black cardstock. Spray bleach onto it. Let the bleach pool up and let it dry a few hours.
Now that you have completed the chalking, you are going to want to spritz some white spray mist on top of your background. If you don't have any spray mist, mix a little paint with some water and then put it into a spray bottle!
To keep the chalk colors from coming off, spray the panel with a light misting of hairspray.
For my card, I stamped a couple stars on it with Technique Tuesday's Look Out World clear stamp set.
Sure love the look!
Please meet this week's Story Card!
This Story Card would work great in a pocket page scrapbook or on a traditional scrapbook page. Not a scrapbooker? You could use it on a greeting card too! Just change out the sentiment.
Here's how you can make one just like with steel dies and clear stamps from TechniqueTuesday.com.
Start by cutting a base card with the Story Card steel dies. Cut two pockets and one center with the Hello Pocket steel dies. Cut one solid label with the Marquee Label dies and four small stars with the Nested Stars dies.
Adhere one pocket onto the Story Card like so.
Stamp a phrase on top of the label. The one I used is from Technique Tuesday's Matter of Time clear stamp set.
With that, this week's Story Card is a wrap! Tune in next Sunday for another installment of Story Card Sunday. Hope to see you then!
