Remembering Good Times with Laura

Hello, Technique Tuesday fans!

Looking for some scrapbook inspiration? Check out this pocket page Laura O'Donnell made about a fun day with her son!

A page by Laura O'Donnell for TechniqueTuesday.comSure love how she framed the photo in the right corner with the Cool Tab Card steel dies. The sentiment from the Matter of Time stamp set perfectly describes the day.

And how cute is that heart (cut with the Going Places steel dies) over the Good Times phrase on her title card? The combination of the stamped words and heart really helps convey the good times the two of them had together that day!

Looking for more memory keeping ideas? Check out the Idea Gallery on the Technique Tuesday website.

A DIY Valentine’s Day Gift

Hi all!
Love in the air, and we’ve got some Valentine's Day gift inspiration for you today.
How fun would these little bottles of bubbles be to give out to your special Valentines?

Valentine's Bubble Bottles from TechniqueTuesday.com

Super fun if you ask me.
And the coolest part? They didn’t break the bank to make them. We found the bottles of bubbles at a dollar store. And then we made the decorations on them ourselves! We die-cut the hearts, flags and circles with Technique Tuesday’s Nested Hearts and Flair Maker steel dies.

Valentine's Bubble Bottles from TechniqueTuesday.com

We stamped the “XO” sentiments with the Williamsburg Alphabet Small clear stamp set. The set’s letters are the perfect size to stamp on the flags!

We adhered the circles to the bubble bottles with foam adhesive and then tied on a little bit of twine to each bottle for good measure. So cute and so easy!

Story Card Sunday: Super Awesome Week

Hi all!

Sunday means it is time for another installment in the Story Card Sunday series.

Here is this week's pocket page-friendly Story Card.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comNot a pocket page memory keeper? That's OK. This Story Card would look swell on a traditional scrapbook page too!

Let me show you how to make one like it.

You are going to start by doing some die-cutting. Cut a base card with the Story Card steel dies. Cut a frame, two stars and a "super" word with the Star Card steel dies. Cut an "awesome" word with the Say It 2 - Awesome steel dies.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.com

Adhere the two small stars to the star frame. Adhere the frame to the base card.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comAdhere the "awesome" and "super" words to the Story Card.

Stamp words above and below the die-cut words with the Everything Pocket Page stamp set.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from TechniqueTuesday.comYou can use the Story Card as it is. If you want to "sauce it up", add a few gems or enamel dots to your design.

So that is it for this week's Story Card. I'll be back again next with another one for you. Hope to see you then!

Family Time with Linda

Hi everyone!

Looking for a little inspiration for the new Family Time stamp set and Always Always steel dies? Come check out this cool scrapbook page Linda Barber made with them.

A scrapbook page made with steel dies and clear stamps from TechniqueTuesday.com

Can you believe that circle is stamped? Linda stamped it with the Family Time stamp set.

A scrapbook page made with clear stamps and steel dies from TechniqueTuesday.comLove how it looks stamped on a die-cut circle.
By the way, did you know the stamps in the Family Time stamp set coordinate with 1 3/4" and 1" circle punches (as well as TT's Circles steel dies)? That means you can stamp an image and then easily cut it out with a circle punch or die.

And how fun are those arrow elements on Linda's page? She cut die-cut each of them with the Always Arrows steel dies. To make the top and bottom ones really pop, Linda matted the white arrows on blue cardstock, removing just some of the shapes to expose the blue. So cool!

An Easy Treat for Valentine's Day

Looking for an easy treat to make for Valentine's Day?

Here's an idea for you: Turn a bunch of lollipops into cute treats by dressing them up with a few die-cuts and some stamped words.

Valentine's Day Lollipops from TechniqueTuesday.comThese lollipops were really easy to dress up with steel dies and clear stamps from TechniqueTuesday.com.

For each lollipop, I cut one label with the Just Sayin steel dies, one circle with Circles steel dies and one small heart with the Nested Hearts steel dies. Then I stamped a phrase on each circle with the Hello Darling stamp set. The set has so many great sayings for Valentine's Day projects. I just love it!

Valentine's Lollipops from TechniqueTuesday.com

I finished the lollipops up by stacking all the die-cuts together. For added dimension, I used a little foam tape to adhere the circles to the labels. And then I tied on a little twine to each lollipop.

By the way, I adhered the labels to the lollipops with a piece of foam tape.

So easy and so fun!

Please meet this week's Story Card.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique Tuesday

This Story Card would great on a traditional scrapbook page or in a pocket page.

Here's how you can make one like it with Technique Tuesday's DIY Steel Dies.

Cut two base cards and two flags with the Story Card steel dies. Cut a medium star and a small star with the Nested Stars dies. Cut a "When" and center with the What Where When dies and a "Who" and center with the Why Who Hello dies

A Technique Tuesday Story Card Sunday tutorialUse your scissors to cut an uneven line across one of the base cards. Lay the two base cards together.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique Tuesday

Now, you are going to start layering the remaining dies together. Adhere the flags to the card.  Add the large star. Add the words.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayYou'll keep going by adding the centers to the words. You'll also add the small star to one of the words. You'll also want to add an enamel dot or gem to middle of the small star.

I hope to see you next week for another installment in our Story Card Sunday series!
