DIY Stickers for Planners

Do you keep a planner? Do you like to use stickers in your planner?

Well, have I got a fun trick for you! Consider making your stickers ahead of time by die-cutting them from vinyl with Technique Tuesday’s DIY Steel Dies.

A Planner decorated with clear stamps and steel dies from TechniqueTuesday.comI created a bunch of stickers for my planner with Technique Tuesday’s Flair Maker and Going Places steel dies.

I used self-adhesive vinyl (typically used to digitally cut words and shapes) that I found in rolls at a craft store. I cut some small pieces of vinyl out and temporarily stuck them onto my die-cutting plate with Washi tape. This helped to keep the vinyl from curling as I cut it.

When finished, I ended up with a whole bunch of stickers to use in my planner.

When you do this at home, consider making a bunch ahead of time and then storing them in a small bag until you are ready to use them. That way, when it comes time to work on your planner, you have done a lot of the work ahead of time.

Planning ahead,
