Story Card Sunday: Favorite Memory

Hello again!

Sunday means it is time for a brand new Story Card.

2_scs_48_Memory_TechniqueTuesday

Like many of the Story Cards we feature here on the Technique Tuesday blog, this one is pocket page-friendly. It would also look swell on a traditional scrapbook page or greeting card.

Want to know how to make it with Technique Tuesday's steel dies and clear stamps? Let me show you how.

Start by cutting a base card from patterned paper with Story Card DIY steel dies. Cut a frame from cardstock with the Cool Tab Card dies and a couple circles with the Circles dies.

Use watercolor pencils (or watercolor crayons) to scribble on some color around the two circles like so.

Scs_48_2

Spread the color with water. A water pen works great for this task. Just be sure to wipe off the color off the brush as you move from color to color.

Scs_48_3

Adhere the circles to your base card like so.

Mount the frame to your Story Card. Stamp a sentiment on it. The words I used are from the Perfect Picture - Memory Keepers Studio stamp set

Finish the Story Card off by adding a couple enamel dots or gems to it.

And there you have it!

I'll be back again next with another Story Card. Hope to see you then.
