Story Card Sunday: Love You Banners
Hooray! It's Story Card Sunday once again, and I've got a new pocket page-friendly journaling card to share with you.
While this Story Card would look swell in a pocket page scrapbook, it would also work on a card or a traditional scrapbook page. Let me show you how you can make one just like it.
Start by cutting a base with Technique Tuesday's Story Card DIY Steel Dies and a frame with the Classic Label Card steel dies. You'll also want to cut some small flags and shapes with the Flair Maker steel dies. You'll notice my red flags look different than the others. That's because I cut them from wool felt rather than paper.
Place the frame onto your Story Card base. Adhere the flags and shapes together to make a banner. You want it to look somewhat like this.
Wrap a piece of twine or floss around the card. Tie a bow in front.
Finish the card off by stamping a sentiment onto the label. (The one I used came So Grateful, a stamp set TechniqueTuesday.com will be releasing in a few weeks as part of their Summer release.)
The finished card should look something like this.
Ta-da!
Hope to see you again next week for another installment in our Story Card Sunday series.
