Pssst... SUMMER RELEASE SNEAK PEEKS!
A Sweet Card from Daniela

Story Card Sunday: Love This Bookmark

Hi everyone!

Sunday means it is time for a new Story Card.

And I've got something special up my sleeves today. I'm going to show you how to make a Story Card and then turn it into a bookmark.

Fun, huh?!

Let me show you how you can make one like it with clear stamps and steel dies from TechniqueTuesday.com.

First, you are going to do some die-cutting.

Scs_40_1

Cut a base card with our Story Card DIY Steel Dies.

Cut a frame using the Cool Tab Label Card steel dies. You'll also want to cut five stars with stars die that's included with the Cool Tab Label Card steel dies.

Cut a circle with our Circles steel dies, and a small circle with the Flair Maker Fresh Cut Studio steel dies.

Adhere the frame to the base card. Be sure to adhere the larger circle right below the tab.

Stamp a phrase onto the small circle. (The one I used is from the Happy Day Flair stamp set.)

Adhere the small circle to the Story Card. Add the stars to it as well.

This Story Card is good to go if you want to use it in a pocket page or on a traditional scrapbook page. To turn it into a bookmark, fold it in half like so.

Here's where the magic comes in: Open the Story Card up. Add two strips of magnets to it.

And that's all! You've got a bookmark.1_scs_40_LoveThisBookmark

I will be back again next Sunday with another Story Card. Hope to see you then!
