Story Card Sunday: You're Cool

Hello all!

It is Story Card Sunday, and I've got a fun one to share with you.

This pocket page-friendly Story Card was so easy to make. Let me show you to make one like it!

Start by cutting a base from dark cardstock with Technique Tuesday's Story Card DIY Steel Dies. You'll also want to cut two frames from white cardstock with the Classic Label Card DIY Steel Dies.

Now you are going to want to stamp the tie from the Mister Man stamp set repeatedly on the dark piece of cardstock with black ink. (Don't have this stamp set yet? Any small and open stamped image will do.)

Use a white pencil to color in some of the ties. For added visual interest, doodle some polka dots, stripes and scribbles on some of the ties.

It's a cool look, huh?!

Now you want to stack the two frames together and stamp a sentiment on top. The words I used are from the Mister Man stamp set.

You'll end up with something like this.

And there you have it! I'll be back again next week with another Story Card to share with you!

PS. Are a fan of digital die-cutting? Did you know we offer many of our steel dies as digital cut files? You'll find them here
