Story Card Sunday: Good Times

Hooray! Sunday means it is Story Card Sunday time. Can I get a woohoo?

This is this week's Story Card.

2_scs_34_goodtimes

This Story Card would work well in a pocket page or on a traditional scrapbook page.

Let me show you how to make one like it.

Start by cutting two base cards with our Story Card DIY Steel Die.

Now stamp the grid pattern on one of the cards. (I used the Grid stamp from Technique Tuesday to do my grid stamping.)

Scs_34_2

Turn the card sideways and adhere it to the second base card. Use your scissors to cut away any excess.

Now you are going to do the stamping. Stamp a couple sentiments from the Pure Magic by Ali Edwards stamp set on cardstock. Cut them out and adhere them to the card. Also, die-cut a star circle (from the Cool Tab Card DIY Steel Dies) from cardstock and adhere it to the card.

Use a colored pencil to add a little shading to the Good Times sentiment. Also, use a black pen to add some color to the star circle.

Scs_34_5

Finish the Story Card off by adding a few embellishments to it.

That's all for this week. I hope to see you again next Sunday!
