Festive Fourth of July Party Decor

Hi all!

Planning a 4th of July Party this year? Here are a couple quick and easy ways to add a personalized touch to your holiday picnic table!

Wrap Up the Utensils

Set plastic utensils on a paper napkin. Roll them up. Wrap a strip of cardstock and jute around the rolled napkin and utensils. Die-cut and layer together some stars cut with Technique Tuesday's Nested Stars DIY Steel Dies

To create the flag stars, I stamped onto the white stars with a stamp from the My Hero stamp set.

I covered the bottom portion of the star with red ink and the top with blue and then I just stamped.

Make Cupcake Picks

Spruce up your cupcakes with patriotic toothpicks!

I used the Nested Stars dies to cut three stars from cardstock.

I stamped a sentiment from the My Hero stamp set on a strip of cardstock. I adhered all four pieces together and mounted them to a toothpick. I also added a little bit of twine to the toothpick.

Imagine making a whole bunch of these picks for a dozen or so cupcakes! How fun would that be?!

Here's to fireworks, picnics and all things 4th of July,
