Hooray! It is Story Card Sunday yet again.
We are taking a trip on the artistic side with this week's Story Card. On your mark. Get set. Check it out.
Like all of the Story Cards we feature on Story Card Sunday, this one would work great in a pocket-style scrapbook or on a traditional scrapbook page or card.
So let's get to it.
Start by die-cutting a base from white cardstock with the Story Card DIY Steel Dies.
Now cut three hearts from white cardstock with our Nested Hearts DIY Steel Dies. By the way, I used the same die to cut all three of my hearts, but you may want to mix things up and cut hearts of different sizes.
Adhere the hearts onto the base with a liquid glue. Let the glue dry completely before you do anything else.
Use watercolor crayons to scribble some color at the top of your card. (Don't have any watercolor crayons? Consider using spray mists to brush on some color with a paintbrush.)
Use a water pen to pull the color down the card. You want to pull the color over the hearts as you go. Let the color dry.
Finish the card off by adding some sequins, epoxy dots or gems and stamping a sentiment. The words I used are from Technique Tuesday's Cloud 9 stamp set.
And there you have it!
We'll be back next Sunday with an all-new Story Card for you. Hope to see you then!
PS. Are you a digital die-cutter? We have digital cut files for many of Technique Tuesday's DIY Steel Dies.
