Woot! Woot! It's Story Card Sunday once again.
And I've got another pocket page friendly journaling card for you. Please give it up for this week's Story Card.
Keep in mind that while this week's Story Card would fit perfectly in a pocket style-style scrapbook page, it would also work well on a traditional scrapbook page or card!
Let me show you how to make one like it.
Start by die-cutting two bases from cardstock with the Story Card DIY Steel Die.
Set aside the white base for later.
Take the pink base and place the Straight Talk - Happy die onto it. Use a little decorative tape or Painter's tape to hold it in place. Run it through your die-cutting machine.
Once die-cut, use your scissors to snip off the ends of the card like so.
Adhere the pink panel to your white Story Card.
Stamp a few words above happy. (The ones I used are from Technique Tuesday's Everything Pocket Page stamp set.)
Stamp some journaling lines onto the base. (I stamped my lines with TT's Travel Log stamp set.)
Embellish the Story Card with sequins, gems or brads.
The end result should be something like this.
I'll be back next week with another Story Card for you! In the meantime, you can check out all of our previous Story Card Sunday projects by going here.
PS. Have you see our Straight Talk dies? In addition to our Straight Talk - Happy die, we also have Straight Talk - Hello and Straight Talk - Hugs. These dies work with our Say It - Hugs and Say It - Hello stamp sets.
