A Pocket Page from Laura

It is no secret I love a good pocket page.

And it is no secret that I find Laura O'Donnell's pocket pages "oh so, so" inspiring!

Check out her first pocket page for 2014.

It is loaded with Technique Tuesday goodness. Pretty cool, huh?

I really admire that she gets a lot of bang for the buck when it comes to her stamp stash. Laura often uses a lot of different stamp sets on her pocket pages.

She used stamps from three different Technique Tuesday stamp sets on this page: Cloud 9, Classic Ali Edwards and Your Choice by Ali Edwards.

I especially dig the pocket in the lower right corner of Week 1 page.

The words from the Your Choice by Ali Edwards stamp set look so cool when stamped together with two different colors of ink.

Got a pocket page you've made with Technique Tuesday stamps, dies or cut files? We'd love to see it. Send us a link through Facebook or Twitter, or use load it up on Instagram with the #TechniqueTuesday hashtag.

A Fabulous Layout from Linda

Hello, Technique Tuesday fans!

We've got a fabulous layout from the fantastic Linda Barber to share with you today.

Linda paid tribute to several road trips she took with this travel-themed layout. Look close and you'll see there are four photos from four vastly different places! And get this! Each of the pictures was shot with a cell phone!

As she said, "It's amazing how good phone photos are these days!"

Linda stamped the words on her layout with a phrase from our Geotags by Ali Edwards stamp set.

She created each of the layout's circle elements by heat embossing some of the set's circle stamps with silver embossing powder. And then she used a 1" circle punch to cut them out.

Nicely done, Linda!

PS. There's been a Technique Tuesday spotting on the Create blog! Check out this post from Wendy Sue Anderson to see some super cute cards she used some Technique Tuesday stamps and dies on.

DIY Steel Dies + Teri = One Cool Card

Like steel dies? Well, here's a project right up your alley!

Teri made this card using three of our DIY Steel Dies: Story Card, Photo Frame and Say It - Hello.

She simply used the steel dies to cut all the elements for the center section and then assembled them together.

To give them some added dimension, she added twine, an epoxy dot and a clothespin to the mix!

So simple and yet fun!

February Studio AE Sneak Peek

February is almost here so how about a Studio AE sneak peek?

Here's a little something Laura O'Donnell made with the Studio AE stamp set we'll debut on Feb. 1st.

Sure looks like it is going to be lovely!

Story Card Sunday: Together Hearts

Hot diggity! It is time for another Story Card Sunday!

Here is this week's Story Card.

Like many of the Story Cards we feature on Story Card Sunday, this one is pocket page friendly, but it also would work on a traditional scrapbook page or card!

Let me show you how to make one like it.

Start by cutting a base from kraft cardstock with our Story Card DIY Steel Die.

Now, you are going to cut a doily. Set the Story Card die onto the doily so it cuts just a portion of it.

Run it through your die-cutting machine, just like regular cardstock and patterned paper. You'll end up with something like so.

Adhere the small part to the Story Card base. Recycle the rest of your doily or set it aside to use on another project later on.

Cut three hearts using the Nested Hearts DIY Steel Dies.

Mount the hearts to your Story Card with foam adhesive. Consider brushing a little ink along the edges of the hearts first to give them some added dimension.

Stamp a sentiment onto the Story Card. The one I used is from Technique Tuesday's Cloud 9 stamp set.

Finish the Story Card off by adding some epoxy dots, gems or pearls to the hearts.

Save some time to stop by our blog again next Sunday when we will show you how to make yet another Story Card. Hope to see you then!

PS. Planning to make Valentine's Day cards or work on some scrapbook pages about the ones you love most? Well, check out our 2014 Love collection of stamps, steel dies and digital cut files.

Less than a Month to Valentine's Day...

Oh goodness! The countdown is on.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

And with the big day less than a month away, I'm in the hunt for the Valentine's Day card inspiration. I've found myself particularly drawn to this card by Sharyn Tormanen.

Sharyn created it with Technique Tuesday's Love Seal stamp set.

I really like how Sharyn used the stamp set to create her own heart patterned paper. She simply cut a block of white cardstock and then stamped the hearts with red ink over and over again. Such a great touch!

Hugs & Kisses from Lori

Everybody needs a little hug sometime.

And a card like this one from Lori Vliegen is a great way to send a whole lot of hugs (and kisses) to someone who lives afar!

The "Hugs & Kisses" sentiment Lori used is from her With All My Heart stamp set from Technique Tuesday.

I just love how she made the words look like they are in a conversation bubble!

So cool looking!
