Sunday means a new Story Card! Hooray!
You can use this week's Story Card to spice up a holiday gift bag! It would also work swell in a pocket page scrapbook or on a traditional layout. It would also look good on a card.
Let me show you how to make one like it.
Start by die-cutting three base cards with our Story Card DIY Steel Die.
Tear one card in half. Adhere the torn piece to one of the base cards like so.
Cut a frame using our Home Circle Card DIY Steel Die from kraft cardstock. Adhere it to your Story Card.
Now, cut a heart from patterned paper. Mount it with a gem onto the frame. Use foam adhesive to adhere it for a little extra kick.
Stamp a sentiment. (I used one from Technique Tuesday's Be Jolly stamp set.)
Stitch your decorated Story Card to your third, unused Story Card base. You want it to look like this. (Not a seamstress? Consider using a little decorative tape to hold them together.)
Pop a hole at the top of the Story Card. Bring a small piece of twine through the hole and tie a bow.
Use the Story Card for a memory keeping project or clip it onto a gift bag with a clothespin.
Tune in next week for another installment in our Story Card Sunday blog series! Hope to see you then.
