Story Card Sunday: Love You Mom
Teri here, and I'm excited to kick off the new Story Card Sunday series here on the Technique Tuesday blog.
Pocket page scrapbooking is all the rage right now so we'll be bringing you a new Story Card every Sunday. The Story Cards we feature here will often use DIY Dies and other great TT products. And what's great about our featured Story Cards is they will always work with pocket pages, but they will often work on greeting cards and traditional scrapbook pages, too.
So let's get things rolling with this week's Story Card!
And here's how you can make one like it!
Start by die-cutting a Story Card from kraft cardstock with the Story Card steel die. Cut the punctuation at the same time by placing a piece of Painter's tape or decorative tape on top.
You should end up with something like this.
Once you've die-cut the card, stamp a sentiment on top. I used a phrase from Mama = Love by Ali Edwards.
Now, adhere a strip of solid paper along the side of the card and add a couple brads or gems.
Die-cut one more Story Card with the Story Card steel die. This time, cut it from patterned paper. Adhere the two Story Cards together with foam adhesive.
When you are finished, you'll end up with something like this.
Tune in next week for the another Story Card Sunday!
Ps. Are you more of a digital die-cutter? You can play along, too, on Story Card Sunday. Check out our digital cut files! You'll find our Story Card shapes available in the Project Cut Files section of our Web site.

What a great way to use dies! I am going to try something similar on a few homemade greeting cards.
