Memory Keeping with Laura

We've got Laura O'Donnell here today with a scrapbook page!

Take it away, Laura!

"My daughter has played softball since second grade and now, in 8th grade, she's on a club team where they start their season in September and finish up in July.  These pictures were taken in September at their first scrimmage on a perfect day to be outside playing ball.

I used a journaling block stamp from the Who What Where by Ali Edwards stamp set, which is one of my most used stamps for both layouts and Project Life.  The All Star stamp is from Go Team and Play Ball is from Baseball.

I did the stamping with Technique Tuesday's Black and Brown inks, and blue from the Basic Color 5 Pack.  I think I'll be using these 2 sports sets for years to come, and by changing the inks they'll always coordinate with whatever colors the uniforms are."

Thanks, Laura, for sharing your page!

Ali Edwards + the December Daily 2012 Stamp Set

It is always fun to see a designer use her own stamps to make projects!

And Ali Edwards is doing just that by giving us an up-close look at how she is using her December Daily 2012 stamp set on her blog this week!

Ali documents the days leading up to Christmas every year with a December Daily album. She uses November to create the album so in December she just has to add pictures and journaling.

She shared some of her foundation pages for this year's album this week. Here is a sneak peek of one that uses the new December Daily 2012 stamp set.

Head to her blog to see more pages made with the stamp set and other supplies.

The December Daily 2012 by Ali Edwards stamp set is available through our Web site and through some retailers. Check with your favorite retailer to see if they have the stamp set in stock or will get it in. Orders for the stamp set set placed through our Web site will begin shipping in mid November.

Beautiful Baby Cards from Birgit

Ever see a card that just makes your heart melt?

Well, how about two of them?

These two cards of a sweet sleeping baby from Birgit Eblom do just that for us.

Birgit created these two cards in honor of two expectant colleagues.

She stamped both of them entirely with our Sweet Angel stamp set.

We love how she used the same baby stamp on both of her cards. By using it both vertically and horizontally, it makes the two cards seem so different.

Well done, Birgit! Way to stretch that stamp! Thanks for sharing these sweet cards with us.

Have you made anything with our Sweet Angel stamp set?

We'd love to see it! Share it with us through our Facebook page and on Twitter! We also welcome project submissions for consideration in our Customer Gallery on our Web site!

Introducing: December Daily 2012 by Ali Edwards

The December Daily stamp sets from Ali Edwards are some of our most loved stamp sets, and Ali Edwards is back with a new December Daily stamp set for 2012!

Each year, Ali creates a December Daily album that documents the 25 days leading up to Christmas. She makes the base pages for the album in November so that she can just add photos each day in December. Whether you follow Ali's lead and make an entire album or you are making other holiday projects, you are going to want this stamp set.

(Please note that this stamp set was included in the 2012 December Daily kit from Studio Calico. If you already ordered the Studio Calico kit, you will be receiving these stamps with your kit from Studio Calico.)

The set’s suggested retail price is $19.99. It will be available for a limited time through our Web site and some retailers. Check with your favorite retailer to see if they are going to get them in or to ask them to.

In honor of the new set, we've got an inspiring card Daniela Dobson made with it to share with you.

PS... Looking for a great stamp set to use in addition to this one with your December Daily albums? Some of our December Joys by Ali Edwards sets (October's Studio AE stamp set) are still available.

"Hi! My name is Kimberly Crawford, and I am beyond thrilled to be the guest designer for Technique Tuesday this month! TT stamps have long been a staple in my collection! I have been married to my husband for over 13 years. We have an almost 7 year old son, as he likes to remind us, and a very fat cat named Milo. We live in eastern Iowa in the midst of a ton of corn. I am currently designing for Spellbinders Paper Arts and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I have had the privilege of being published in Paper Crafts Magazine, CardMaker Magazine, CARDS, Scrapbook Trends, Scrapbooking and Beyond, Paper Creations, Crafts and Things, and several book projects. This is going to be fun and I look forward to sharing projects with you all month!"

Kimberly blogs at For the Love of Paper.

In fact, check out her blog today to see a little something she's cooked up with this month's Studio AE stamp set. Here's a sneak peek.
