Memory Keeping with Linda

I've been eyeing the Favorite Story by Ali Edwards Studio AE stamp set for a few months now, and I finally got it!
These stamps are so perfect for layouts! And in particular for this layout. Linda.April.A
It's not a layout about an important date, or event. Just an everyday moment. I was taking photos of my youngest, and trying to get a shot of his new shoes. But he couldn't/wouldn't stop tapping them. At first I was a little annoyed, but then I realized that I was capturing him! A little snippet of who he really is: an energetic kid who is always on the go. When he slows down is when I know he's sick!
These are the kind of stories I want to capture in my photos and layouts. In thirty years, I will pull out pages like this one and reminisce with my kids. And if I'm really lucky, I'll share them with their kids too.
By the way, I also used Ali's little Smooch set on my layout to add a few sentiments and an extra touch of color.
PS... The Favorite Memories by Ali Edwards stamp set is out of stock at Technique Tuesday, but check with your favorite retailer to see if they carry Studio AE stamp sets and they still have it in stock. These Studio AE stamp sets are limited edition and go fast!

Laura O'Donnell had fun bringing Chit Chat and Who Let the Dogs Out together to make this giggle-worthy card.

And Tanis Giesbrecht pulled out some stamps from the new Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection to whip up this sweet card for Mom! Adorable!

Operation Write Home: Memorial Day Sketch Blog Hop

Hi everyone!

We are thrilled to join the kind folks at Operation Write Home for a Memorial Day Blog Hop.

Operation Write Home is a wonderful organization that collects and sends handmade cards for soldiers and their families, which they can use to keep in touch. We think it's a great cause and a fantastic way for crafters to share their talents.

One of the things we especially love is Operation Write Home has created more than 100 sketches (or blue prints) to create cards from. This makes it a whole lot easier for crafters to share those talents!

In fact, some of our Creative Team members used those sketches to make some cards for the troops that we get to share with you today.

Ashley made this fun and cute card with our Happy Birthday Seal stamp set. She drew inspiration from sketch #119.

Teri also used the Happy Birthday Seal on her card. She instead drew inspiration from sketch #83.

We think it's pretty neat that Ashley and Teri used the same stamp set but created two totally different cards by using different sketches! Love that.

Speaking of love, we sure love this card made by Laura O'Donnell.

Laura created it with our I Love You Seal and sketch #51. How fun would this be to get in the mail?!

We want to thank all of you who stopped by our blog today as part of the blog hop. As a thank you, we have a Technique Tuesday special offer for you! Visit, fill up your shopping cart and use coupon code "URAHERO" when you check out. That coupon code will give you 20 percent off your entire order. The coupon code is good through the end of the day on Monday, May 28th.

DIY-Journaling Cards

Hi everyone!

It seems like most of my online scrapbooking friends are putting together Project Life scrapbooks this year.

And I particularly find myself inspired by Laura O'Donnell, who shares a lot of her Project Life pages and often uses Technique Tuesday stamps on them.

She recently shared this one on her blog.

Look at all those stamps on there! I count ones from three different Technique Tuesday stamp sets!

Whenever I see one of Laura's pages, I think to myself that I really need to use my stamps more myself on my own Project Life pages. It is a great way to get more mileage out of your stamps and make yourself use them more often!

So I was thrilled to discover the other day that Who What Where by Ali Edwards, a great Technique Tuesday stamp set for scrapbooking, is perfect for making journaling cards to use in a Project Life book.

Check these out!

They were so easy to make, and you can make some yourself in no time.

Here's what you do need to do:

1. Cut a stack of journaling cards from cardstock to fit in your page protectors. I made mine 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" each so I could more easily put them in and pull them out of the page pockets.

2.  Stamp one of the stamps from Who What Where by Ali Edwards on each one. I used black ink, but you could use any color of ink.

3. Apply patterned paper to the cards. If your stamping is at the bottom of the cards, slightly cover the top of the stamping with patterned paper. If your stamping is at the top of the cards, slightly cover the bottom of the journaling box with patterned paper.

4. Use markers to add a little color to the lettering.

Now they are ready to go when I am ready to add them to my Project Life album!

And while I made these cards to work with my Project Life album, I think they'd also make great journaling spots to use on a scrapbook page.

Cheers for Teachers and Grads!

Today we are celebrating teachers and graduates.

We've got Daniela Dobson, Laura O'Donnell and Sharyn Tormanen here with some delightful cards they've made with the School Seal and Cap & Gown Seal stamp sets from our brand new Signed, Sealed and Delivered collection.

#1 teacher Daniela Dobson

What teacher wouldn't love to receive this card Daniela made?!

Daniela used the School Seal stamp set to make it. Not only did she create large circle embellishment with it, but she used it to create the border of sorts at the bottom of her card. So clever.

Laura used the School Seal stamp set as well to make a card for a special teacher. Rather than using just one color of ink to stamp the circle, she used three! Love that.

And Sharyn created the perfect card for a graduate with our Cap & Gown Seal!

The beauty of her clean design is that it is one that can be pulled off with any of our 12 Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamp sets. Just change out the stamp set and use different colors of paper and ink to fit the occasion.

You can find the School Seal and Cap & Gown Seal, along with our 10 other Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamp sets, on our Web site. Check our store locator to find a local store near you that carries Technique Tuesday products.

More Signed, Sealed and Delivered Inspiration!

Hooray! We are back for another day of celebrating our new Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamp collection!

We have Linda Barber and Teri Anderson here today to share some projects they cooked up with the collection's I Love You Seal, Mom Seal and USA Seal sets.

Let's get on with the show.

Linda used the I Love You Seal set to create the large circle that goes off the edge of her layout. It sure goes great with her border of circles! And don't you just love how she made the heart pink?

To finish off her layout, she stamped one of the smaller stamps from the set once in the lower left corner of her layout.

Soft, sweet and a great finishing touch!

Teri used the same stamp set to whip up this simple little card.

She made the seal three-dimensional by popping the center up with foam tape and then adding a red gem to the heart. She paired the finished seal with some of the words from our Love Always Wins by Ali Edwards stamp set.

Speaking of love-themed cards, Linda used the Mom Seal to make this sweet one for Mom.

Don't you love how she turned the seal into a rosette? She stamped the seal on cardstock and then used a scalloped circle punch to cut it out. She finished off her rosette by adding a couple pieces of ribbon notched at the ends.

Teri made one more card for us to share with you today.

She used the USA Seal set here. She made the star accents by stamping the set's small star stamp on some of our Technique Tiles - Buttons.

We'll be back tomorrow with some more projects made with the Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamps. Hope to see you here.

These sweet stamps, which cost just $2.99 per set, are designed to look like round seals. We sized these stamps to work well as an image on a hand-made card, accents on memory keeping projects, or for DIY party projects. Each Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamp set works with a 1¾" circle punch.

They are available now through Also, check our store locator to find a store near you that may have already ordered them or to ask them to get them in stock.

In honor of these new stamps, we are going to spend the next few days sharing some fun projects made with them.

So let's kick this party off with some cards made by Daniela, Laura and Sharyn with the THX Seal, Coffee Break Seal and Birthday Seal sets.

Thank you Daniela Dobson

Daniela Dobson created this stunning card with the THX Seal! We love how she made her card look like an envelope. The seal is a great finishing touch.

Laura O'Donnell created the perfect gift card for the coffee fan with the Coffee Break Seal. How cool is it that she adhered layered the seal and then adhered it to an envelope that holds a gift card?! So clever.

What a fun and happy birthday card Sharyn Tormanen made with the Happy Birthday Seal! This is the perfect card to give a birthday girl or guy of any age.

Tune in tomorrow to see more projects made with our new Signed, Sealed and Delivered stamps.
