Today we are going to mix scientific research with paper crafting. Sounds kind of weird, right?
Did you know that scientists have found that flowers really do make people - both men and women - feel good? According to research conducted at Rutgers University, flowers increase peoples' feelings of happiness, their sense of enjoyment, and their overall life satisfaction. The research shows that flowers are a natural and healthful moderator of moods. (Not convinced that scientists really studied this? You can check it out here.)
With that research in mind, plus my love of flower and botanical stamps, we decided to design a new collection called the Greenhouse Society. Each month this year, we will release a new Greenhouse Society stamp set featuring the best botanicals of the season plus classic sentiments. The images and sentiments from each of the different sets are sized to work well with all the other Greenhouse Society stamps. If you get them all, you will have a collection of botanical images and sentiments that you can mix and match on your cards and scrapbook pages.
You can see the first 3 Greenhouse Society stamp sets on our website. (The first set is featured on all of the cards in this blog post.) If you would like to make sure you get all the Greenhouse Society stamp sets, go to our website and sign up to become a Greenhouse Society member. We will only make a limited number of each of these sets - enough for the people who are Greenhouse Society members plus a few extra sets. If you'd rather not become a member, on the 15th of each month we will reveal the latest Greenhouse Society stamp set and make the extra sets available for purchase. Whether you become a Greenhouse Society member or just purchase some of these sets, you can bring the positive power of flowers to your handmade cards, layouts, and other paper craft projects.
