Stained Glass Windows with Teri
Hi everyone!
Teri here today.
I want to show you all a fun technique that uses vellum, markers, embossing powder and Dreamy Daisy, one of Technique Tuesday's newest stamp sets.
The technique I am going to show you today is called the Stained Glass technique.
It's super easy and super pretty!
Let's get started.
Start by stamping the image with watermark ink on a piece of vellum.
Dump embossing powder on top. I am using black embossing powder today, but you can use any color and it will work great.
Heat up the image with your embossing gun.
Flip the vellum over so the back side is facing up. Use permanent markers (such as Sharpie markers) to color in the image.
Flip it over and it will look like stained glass.
I used this technique to make this flower on this card.
When I put the card together, I didn't need to add a whole lot to it. All I did was add a sentiment and a few pearls and was good to go.
Wow, looks great! And simple enough for me!
