No Monkeying Around Here
Here at Technique Tuesday we love a good challenge!
So we decided to throw out a challenge for our Stamping Techs. We asked them to take a look at this silly little sock monkey and make something inspired by it.
Fun, huh?
And boy were they inspired. From taking inspiration from the monkey's color to making a winter-themed card because of him, our Stamping Techs came up with some amazing projects.
Go ahead and take a peek.
Kris was inspired by the texture of the monkey and gave this adorable kitten a hat. The kitten is from our new Cat's Meow set, while the hat is from Knit Wits.
Laura also found inspiration in the monkey's texture and created this fun card with the Knit Wits set. She also drew inspiration from the monkey's color scheme.
Tanis came up with this fun set of cards that uses the cute sea creatures from our Make A Splash stamp set.
Tobi was inspired by the monkey's blue and green colors. She used those colors to color the butterfly (from our Wingin' It set) that she used on her card.
Teri also found inspiration in the monkey's color scheme. She was also inspired by the stripes on his body and included some stripes on her card.
Sharyn found inspiration in the monkey's colors for this card, which she made with our new Wishes stamp set.
And Charlene also found inspiration in the monkey's color scheme.
Please stop by the blogs of our Stamping Techs to give them some love. Click on each of the project pictures and you'll be taken to their respective blog posts.
We'll pick one person at random (who left a comment on one of the Stamping Techs' blogs) to win our Going Bananas stamp set.
Comments must be left by midnight on March 1st. We'll announce a winner here on the Technique Tuesday blog on March 2nd.

Wow! I truly love all of the creative ideas, especially the trees and all of the creative cards. I am a Kindergarten Teacher and mother of three children. I can see endless possibilities of how I could use these ideas and more- cards for the children, Craft ideas for my daughter's Girl Scout troop and the list goes on.

I really like Laura's rendition with the Knit Wits, guess the knitter in me really was drawn to that one, it's also just an appealing design.

WOW! What a creative group. All of the cards are simply beautiful! It is amazing how a group of people can stretch in so many directions, even though they were all inspired by the same little monkey.
