Nifty Typewriter Key Necklaces from Jen

Hi everyone!

I recently had the chance to visit Technique Tuesday, and the place was buzzing because Jen had come up some cool typewriter key necklaces for the gals in the office. I mean, check these out.

Nifty, huh? And guess what? She used Technique Tuesday stamps on them. Specifically, stamps from the Just My Type stamp set.

Ok. Wait. Before I tell you just how she made these clever necklaces, let me introduce you to Jen.

Meet Jen!

You can often find Jen in the Technique Tuesday warehouse. She's making sure things get shipped, packaging up products and orders and just making sure things that need to get completed get done.

She is also one of the nicest people at Technique Tuesday. She's always willing to answer a question and lend a hand when needed.

Now that you have met Jen, back to her cool necklaces.

Jen used buttons for the bases of her necklaces. (Feeling adventurous? Instead of using real buttons,  consider creating your own buttons with our Technique Tile - Buttons.)

Then she stamped the letters on cardstock, trimmed them and adhered them to the buttons. Once adhered, she added a heavy coat of Glossy Accents to them.

To finish the necklaces off, she adhered bails she found in the jewelry aisle at a craft store and added chains.

Easy peasy. And totally fun to wear!

I am anxious to try my hand at making one myself!

Very cool! I thought they were actual typewriter keys!! tfs.

NO WAY! That is absolutely brilliant. Love it! So nice to meet ya Jen!

Great idea, I thought they where real typewriter keys as well! Thanks for sharing how you make them, what a neat gift!
