I love a good challenge!
So when one of my co-workers suggested I make something inspired by our Share Your Story challenge, I jumped on the opportunity.
I may work for a scrapbook company, but I don't get to create all the time. I am busy getting kits ready and helping ship orders for TT. When I am not working, I am busy with family, school and things around the house.
When I saw the new October Studio AE stamp set (It's called Give Thanks by
Ali Edwards and officially debuts on Oct. 1st), I knew it would be perfect for my project!
I love Fall and everything it has to offer! The new Studio AE stamp set is all about the Fall and giving thanks!
I decided to make a Gratitude box.
The base of my cube is one of TT's folding boxes.
On each of the outside squares of the box, I added photos of my family. I adhered the bottom and the sides of the pictures so that each picture forms a pocket. The picture pockets hold Gratitude journaling spots. I gave all my family members a journaling spot and asked them to write down what they are thankful for today. I added a tab to each journaling spot so they they are easy to pull up and read.
The project came together so easily. The stamps reminded me how great life is, how wonderful it is to take an hour for myself and do some crafting and how grateful I am for my family and friends.
I hope my story and project inspire you to take some time to craft this week. If you haven't already checked out our Share Your Story contest, you should! We want to see the projects everyone has been making with their Studio AE stamps.
