Shadow Stamping with Watercolor Crayons

Stamped Backgrounds with Watercolor Crayons

Have you caught the watercolor crayon bug yet?

Seems Technique Tuesday's Stamping Techs have. They've been playing with them a lot.

Daniela Dobson found a really fun way to use them while working on this card.

She used a paintbrush to wet a polka dot stamp from our Passion for Polka set with water.

Then, she colored over the stamp with a crayon and stamped.

So cool! I love the result.

She said that while she used Kraft cardstock for this card, the polka dots would have been even more vibrant on white.

In addition to using the crayons to color the polka dots, Daniela used them to color in the tree house on the branch.

Well done, Daniela!

Here's to having fun with watercolor crayons.

Stay tuned to our blog for more great projects and tips for using them.
