Start by doing some die-cutting.

You'll need:

Sponge some ink onto the circle. Adhere the circle to the Story Card.

Stamp a sentiment below the word. The one I used is from the Perfectly Wonderful stamp set

Story Card Sunday: World's Greatest Best Friend

Hi all!

It's time for another installment of Story Card Sunday.

A handmade Story Card for Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comThis week's Story Card is perfect to use on a traditional scrapbook page or in a pocket page. It would also look good on a greeting card. 

Let me show you how to make one like it with Technique Tuesday's clear stamps and steel dies.

Clear stamps and steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comStart by cutting a base card with the Story Card dies. You'll also want to cut four flourishes with the Fancy Flourish dies and one "world's" banner and "Greatest" word with the Greatest dies.

Adhere the four flourishes to the base card. Make them look like corners.

Clear stamps and steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comAdd the banner. Stamp "best friend" with the Mom's Day stamp set

Complete the Story Card by adding a few gems or enamel dots.

Hi everyone!

Follow along and I'll show you how to make a pocket page-friendly insert card like this.

Collect Moments handmade card from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comThis card would be perfect to use in a pocket page or a traditional scrapbook page. It would also look swell on a greeting card.

Start by cutting a base card with the Story Card dies. You'll also want to cut a dragonfly with the Dragonfly dies

Set the dragonfly on scratch paper. Pull out an assortment of markers and color on top. 

Steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comRemove the dragonfly from the scratch paper and you'll end up with something like this. (Not a dragonfly fan? Consider using Technique Tuesday's Happy Butterfly dies instead.)

Steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comAdhere the dragonfly to your base card.

Stamp a sentiment below the dragonfly. The one I used is from the Inspired Dragonfly stamp set.

Clear stamps and steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comUse a pen to draw a swirl from the dragonfly. Also add a few sequins or gems to embellish the card.

Steel dies from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comStart by doing some die-cutting. Cut a base card with the Memo Pad Card dies. Cut a speaker and microphone with the Music Makers dies. Cut two small hearts with the Nested Hearts dies

Steel dies and clear stamps from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comSet a sticky note across the base card. Sponge ink below the sticky note and remove the note.

Steel dies and clear stamps from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comAdhere the speaker, microphone and heart die-cuts to the Story Card. 

Steel dies and clear stamps from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comStamp a sentiment. The one I used is from the Turn Up The Volume stamp set. You might also consider using a phrase from the Make Music or Bravo stamp sets.

Finish the Story Card by adding some gems or enamel dots to the hearts. Want less bulk? Add a layer of glitter glue instead.

You are going to start by doing some die-cutting.

You'll also want to cut two small hearts with the Nested Hearts dies. Cut a base card with the Story Card dies.

Sponge ink in a circle onto the base card. I'm using blue. You may want to try pink or green.

Meet this week's pocket page-friendly Story Card.

Stories of Summer Story Card from Technique Tuesday // TechniqueTuesday.comNot a pocket page memory keeper? This Story Card would look great on a traditional scrapbook page or greeting card. Let me show you how to make one with Technique Tuesday's steel dies and clear stamps.

Start by doing some die-cutting. 

You'll need to cut: 

  • 1 base card with the Story Card dies
  • 3 small hearts with the Nested Hearts dies
  • 1 Summer word, one sun, one pair of sunglasses and two drink glasses with the Summer dies. You'll also want to cut two more drink glasses from yellow cardstock. Discard the yellow drink glasses and save just the inner pieces.

Adhere the "Summer" word toward the bottom of the base card. Use the Summer Adventure stamp set to stamp "Stories of" above the die-cut word.

Embellish the Story Card with twine and enamel dots or gems.
