Add Stitches with Threaded

Like the look of stitching?

If you do, you are going to love the Threaded crafting dies from the Fresh Cut Studio collection. With these dies and a die-cutting machine, you can painlessly add the look of stitching to any card or scrapbook page.

It's fun to alter patterned paper with them. Simply take the dies, set the dies on striped patterned paper and run them through your machine. Worried about the dies moving around? Use Washi tape to hold them in place. You'll end up with a cool background paper.

On-My-Mind-Dress-Forms-Handmade-Card-Teri-A-Technique-TuesdayAnother fun idea is to make stitched strips of paper with them. Take strips of cardstock. Set a couple of the Threaded dies on them and then cut in the stitched patterns.

This technique would be super fun to try on a scrapbook page too. Imagine making a whole background with stitched strips of cardstock.

Giraffe-Whats-Up-Handmade-Card-Teri-A-Technique-TuesdayLike to create stamped scenes? Add a finishing touch to a plot of grass by taking one of the Threaded dies and adding a line of stitches to it.

YES I love the look... but hate hauling out that old circa 1972 Singer! UGH... this is a great solution, and it looks fabulous, Teri!
