Looking for a simple but cute Valentine's card to make in large quantities? This week's Story Card Sunday card is just that.

A homemade Valentine's Treat Card from Technique TuesdayLet me show you how you can make one (or several) just like it!

Start by doing some die-cutting with the Clipboard steel dies. You are going to want to cut a base, paper and clip for each card you want to make.

A Story Card Sunday stamping tutorial from Technique TuesdayStamp "love you" with the Love Borders stamp set toward the bottom of the smaller rectangle.

Set the longer "sweetheart" stamp on a stamping block. Use Washi tape or masking tape to mask off all the words other than the "sweetheart" one.

A Story Card Sunday stamping tutorial from Technique TuesdayInk up the stamp.

Story Card Sunday: Love Bird

Hi everyone!

Sunday means it is time for another installment of Story Card Sunday. Today's Story Card is on the sweet side!

A handmade card made with stamps and dies from Technique TuesdayImagine putting this one on a scrapbook page about your favorite couple or in a pocket page showcasing February's activities. It would also look on a Valentine's Day card!

It was easy to make with Technique Tuesday's clear stamps and steel dies. Let me show you how.

Cut the Love Bird die out three times from three different colors of cardstock. If you want to sauce things up a bit, use wool felt rather than paper. It works great with steel dies. Keep the hearts from two of the birds. Discard the third. You'll also want to cut one line of strings with the Heart Strings steel dies and two base cards with the Story Card dies.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayWe'll start by making the bird. Arrange two of the birds together like so. Cut off their feet. You'll see why in a minute.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayAdhere the third bird to your bird stack. You'll end up with something like this. Set the bird aside.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayCut off part of one of the base cards. Adhere the bottom of it to the second base card like this.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayAdhere the string of hearts to the top of the base card. Add the felt hearts.

Stamp a small sentiment to the left of the hearts. The one I used is from the Planner - Kiss stamp set. Snip off the ends of the heart strings.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayAdhere the bird to the Story Card. Finish the card by adding some gems or enamel dots to it!

Story Card Sunday: Masked Heart

Hi all!

It's Story Card Sunday yet again, and this week's pocket page-friendly Story Card is a sweet one!

Love Stamped Story Card by Technique TuesdayYou can make a Story Card like this one for your pocket pages, traditional scrapbook pages and greeting cards with ink, cardstock and Technique Tuesday's clear stamps and steel dies! Let me show you how.

Start by cutting a base card with the Story Card dies from plain cardstock. You'll also want to cut a heart with the Together Hearts dies from a sticky note. You'll see why in a minute.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayAdhere the sticky note heart to the base card. It's going to serve as a mask!

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayUsing sponges and a couple different colors of ink, dab ink onto the card and over the mask. The harder you press down, the more vibrant your ink colors will be.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayRemove the sticky note and you'll end up with something like this. (Don't have the Together Hearts dies? The Lacy Heart die is another fun die to use for this technique.)

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayStamp a sentiment onto the Story Card. I used a phrase from the Home Is stamp set.

A Story Card Sunday tutorial from Technique TuesdayFinish the Story Card by adding some gems or enamel dots to the heart. The circles on this heart make it perfect for bling!

Make a Banner with Together Forever

Looking for a unique way to use the Together Forever stamp set? Make a banner with it like Summer Fullerton did here.

BFF layout from Summer Fullerton for Technique TuesdayThis is a fun and easy way to use the stamp set. Cut several flags from strips of paper. Stamp on some of the banners and journal on others. Arrange the banners next to each other, then place them below a picture.

Want to create an even more unique banner? Rather than cutting notches into your flags, use decorative scissors to cut off the bottoms of them.

Tutorial: Rainbow Lacy Heart

Hi all!

Teri here, and I've got a fun way for you to use Technique Tuesday's Lacy Heart steel die!

Rather than using the die plain, cut it from cardstock and then add some stripes to it with ink like I did here.

Lacy Heart Rainbow Handmade Card from Technique TuesdayYou can create that rainbow look easily with masking! Let me show you how.

Die-cut the Lacy Heart once with from glossy white cardstock. You could use a plain cardstock, but I prefer glossy because it takes to dye inks quite well. It goes on quick, and you can really even out the ink so it doesn't look blotchy.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdaySet the die-cut on scratch paper. Apply a strip of sticky note tape across it.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdaySponge ink onto the heart.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdayRemove the tape.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdayCover up where you just inked. And then add a second piece of sticky note tape. Apply a second color of ink.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdayRemove the sticky note tape. Cover up where you inked again and move the second strip down. Apply a third color of ink. Repeat this process until you have a whole rainbow's worth of color on the heart.

Something you may want to consider as you ink the heart is using a solid piece of cardstock for your scratch paper. Because of the heart's design, you'll end up with a fun pattern on the paper. You may want to use this piece on a second project.

Ink masking stamping technique from Technique TuesdayIf not, that's OK. You'll still have an amazing heart to use on a card or scrapbook page.
